Live performance events including theater, music, dance, opera, use production equipment and services such as staging, scenery, mechanicals, sound, lighting, video, special effects, transport, packaging, communications, costume, and makeup to convince live audience members that there is no better place that they could be at the moment. Hardwired has been integral in the production of various concerts, festivals, presentations and more. Outside of his work with Playstation Theater and the various other venues Hardwired has had their hands in, CEO Jan Eckhard also joined Digital Club Network where he and a small team developed a system to produce live webcasts of concerts from more than 50 music venues across the  U.S.  and overseas. He also spearheaded an initiative to enhance the quality of archival music recordings and produced multiple audio and video recordings of live performances including John Legend, Ben Folds and They Might Be Giants and many of the recordings were released for sale.
